Caterina Balletto

2016 Cum Laude Graduate of Leavy School of Business at Santa Clara University
Major: Finance
Minor: International Business

While at Santa Clara University, Caterina studied abroad in Rome, Italy for a quarter. She was involved in her sorority – Kappa Kappa Gamma as a member of the academic excellence committee, standards committee and finance committee.

Caterina has grown up in the farming business, first in the vegetable business where her parents grew and harvested all types of row crops and later in all aspects of the vineyard and winery business. After graduating from Santa Clara University, Caterina came back to the family business and worked with our California Sales Manager before harvest, then she worked last harvest in the cellar with winemaker Anthony Beckman before taking time to pursue a dream of working at a Tahoe ski resort from November through March of 2017. With record snow fall she realized she is a Sonoma County girl and wanted to come back to a more coastal climate. Since then, she has been working in all areas – learning the business from the ground up. Caterina currently oversees payroll and new business development in which she is currently spearheading a rebranding effort, taken a lead on the paving and entryway project here at the winery and heading up the design layout of the private wine tasting library. She also assists John Balletto with some grower relations and other items. Caterina also supports California Sales Manager Judy Polley and National Sales Manager Nick Frey.

Caterina has a passion for the outdoors. When she isn’t working you can find her hiking, spending time with her dogs Addie & Harley, or working out.
