PourWine Bar and Bistro Donations

Phil and Diane at the Guardian Angels event. Pour Wine Bar and Bistro is a small family owned and operated neighborhood establishment. Our families have been in this area for decades and supporting local charities through donations and volunteer efforts has always been a part of our character.

We receive a very high volume of requests, therefore we have established the following guidelines to receive and process donations to our local community.

Location

We will support local charities.

Type of organization: Your organization must be registered as a Federal 501c3 charitable group. Include a copy of your organizations Certificate of Exemption from the State of Minnesota Department of Revenue. Some non-profit public and private charities may be federally tax-exempt (501c3) but not state tax exempt. If you do not have both permits, you will be required to pay state tax on the retail value of the donation prior to or at the time of donation pick up.

Timing

Request must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to the event.

Frequency

We can only donate to any given charity once a calendar year.

Attach a copy of your 501c3 document

Attach your organization’s Certificate of Exemption from the MN Department of Revenue

We will review the request and determine within 2 weeks if we will support the request and email the contact person.

Organizations will be expected to pick up their donations at Pour Wine Bar and Bistro.
